Tenley's journey into the field of aesthetic medicine has been deeply rooted in lifelong exposure to the industry. Her father, a plastic surgeon, owned and operated his own practice, providing her with a unique upbringing immersed in the world of aesthetic medicine. This early exposure fueled her passion for the field and inspired her own aspirations in the realm of healthcare.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina with her Bachelor of Science in nursing, Tenley gained experience working as a trauma nurse in the hospital emergency room. While the hospital environment offered invaluable learning experiences, she found herself constantly drawn back to the world of aesthetics.
Tenley's career as an aesthetic nurse injector began taking shape in California's vibrant medical spa landscape. Driven by a desire to create a space where individuals could confidently and safely address their aesthetic concerns, she opened her own practice, Starr MedSpa, in 2020.

Brittney is so thorough in explaining the process beginning to end, aftercare, etc. She is so kind throughout the process and checks in to make sure you are comfortable. Alison is the best! I went in with lots of pain because of my TMJ and she was able to give me Botox. I can now chew and all the pain has gone away. She is super knowledgeable and gives honest advice! I will only be coming to her for my services for now on.
