How Is A Lip Flip Performed?
The lip flip in one of our comfortable procedure rooms at Starr MedSpa's Westlake Village or Studio City, CA location typically takes about 15 minutes to complete. Once our certified aesthetic nurse injector has walked you through the paperwork, she will clean your upper lip and prepare for the treatment. Units of neurotoxin (BOTOX® or Dysport®) will be injected into your upper lip, causing it to relax and rest lower on the mouth. This new placement is slightly turned up, causing the lip to appear fuller. The neurotoxin requires 7 – 10 days to "settle in," and after that period, you will begin to see results.
