What Is Under-eye PRP?

How Does Under-eye PRP Work?
Once you are comfortably seated in one of our minor procedure rooms, a small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm and put into a centrifuge machine. Typically, we remove about four tablespoons or one vial worth of blood. After approximately 15 minutes on the centrifuge machine, the different components of the blood will be separated and ready for injection. We will place the rich plasma into a syringe and inject it under your eyes. The procedure usually takes approximately one hour, but this will vary in each patient. Most patients will need to receive anywhere from 4 – 6 sessions, each spaced about a month apart in order to achieve the best possible results. Additionally, we usually recommend scheduling about 2 – 3 maintenance sessions per year to keep your outcomes looking completely stunning.
